Academic Session: 2023-24

Brahmavid the Global School strongly believes in the holistic development of a child. The affiliation program with Pracheen Kala Kendra Chandigarh is meant to promote artistic, and rhythmic skills among the students, along with the understanding and appreciation of the rich Indian heritage and culture. Through this program, students can choose from a variety of art forms, including dance, drama, music (vocal and instrumental), and visual arts, depending on their interests. They receive training at various levels with an annual curriculum that includes both theoretical and practical classes for their overall education.

Every year, exams are held for all art disciplines, with the assistance of an external examiner from Pracheen Kala Kendra in Chandigarh. In February 2024, the practical exam for the academic year 2023–2024 was completed with 223 students registered in it. The exuberance and enthusiasm that the students exhibited during the days of the exam was amazing. Great going kiddos!

On February 24th, 2024, an enlightening Tratak Meditation session was organized for the residential students of BTGS. The session, facilitated by the esteemed fitness trainer and naturopathist, Dr. Vivek Bhartiya, aimed to equip our students with enhanced focus and revitalized energy as they gear up for their upcoming examinations.

Tratak, an ancient meditation technique, involves focusing one's gaze on a single point, often a candle flame, to harness concentration and inner calm

Dr. Vivek Bhartiya, renowned for his expertise in holistic wellness, guided the students through the profound practice of Tratak - candle gazing.

As the students practised Tratak, they started to feel really peaceful and relaxed. It helped them forget about their worries and feel more ready to face their exams. The session ended with everyone feeling refreshed and focused.

Graduation Day 2023-24.

The air was filled with pride and jubilation as we gathered to applaud the young, enthusiastic learners of Grade UKG for their commendable journey through kindergarten years.

As tradition dictates, the ceremony began with the illumination of lamp, symbolising the enlightenment that education brings, followed by a soulful rendition of Saraswati Vandana.

The stage came alive with the vibrant energy of our LKG students as they presented a captivating dance performance, a heartwarming gesture of admiration and farewell to their seniors. The graduating class stole hearts with their Graduation Song, weaving together memories that will forever linger in our hearts.

The parent shared their gratitude for the journey their children have undertaken in BTGS Kindergarten.

UKG Students dressed in dignified graduation gowns and caps, their faces were beaming with accomplishment. With the Chief Guest, Academic Director, Principal bestowing upon them the degree of Graduation, it marked a moment of immense joy and fulfillment for both, the little graduates and their parents alike.

BTGS has a unique way of assessing the tiny ones. Drama and role play are the tools for this task. In a dazzling display of talent and creativity, our little stars from the kindergarten sparkled on stage, enchanting the audience with delightful role plays. Their confident delivery and articulate expressions showcased not only their budding speaking skills but also their growing social acumen.

It was indeed a visual feast to witness the effort and enthusiasm they put into each moment on stage. The hard work of the facilitators was very evident. Kudos to these young ones for leaving an indelible mark with their captivating performances, turning the stage into a magical realm of learning and laughter.

Disasters often occur with little or no warning. Turkish playwright Mehmet Muran Ilden rightfully said once, “You can never be too far away from a disaster, because there is no disaster-free zone in this entire universe!” Hence, to create awareness, spread more understanding on the topic, to and make us prepared, the Humanities Department of Brahmavid The Global School presented a Workshop on Disaster Management for the students of Grades 6 to 8 on Saturday, 17 February 2024. While most students were well aware of manmade disasters and natural disasters, during the workshop they understood the steps that can prevent a disaster, and the steps that can mitigate the effects of a disaster. In the end, the multiple workshops and drills conducted on disaster management in BTGS, such as the training of the ancillary staff members, fire drills etc, were discussed. The workshop concluded with a note that being proactive, putting first things first, working in synergy, and sharpening our saws with proper information and knowledge— are the key practices that can mitigate the effect of a disaster.

A very important step of health care and well-being is to establish harmony between body, mind, heart and spirit. This time of the year always brings stress and hard work to the students; hence, to ease the residential students and help them rejuvenate themselves, Brahmavid The Global School arranged a bhajan sandhya on the school premises. The very talented facilitators from the esteemed Music department took the initiative and started the programme with Saraswati Vandana, which was followed by several soul-soothing bhajans. The hour-long session brought immense peace and joy to the students and participating facilitators. It was a perfect way to sharpen the skill through the restoration of energy and faith in the supreme being. Once the Brahmaviders discovered themselves, their weekend started on a much virtuous note.

'Earth is the holiest place in the Universe, loving the earth, and loving life is the way to generate positive vibrations'. With this thought Students of Grade 4 A, B and C took active participation in the Seminar on the topic 'Save Earth'. They shared up the causes, effects and prevention to protect our mother 'Earth'. They emphasized more on Habit No. 2, i.e, Begin With the End in Mind while sharing their views to save Earth. The activity was conducted for Science Block 19 'Save Earth'. Students prepared wonderful slides on the topic and understood the importance of the topic in an interactive way.

Special Assembly, Basant Panchami

As the vibrant colours of spring paint the world anew, hues of prosperity and wisdom were brought into the premises of Brahmavid The Global School on the auspicious day of Basant Panchmi, 14 February 2024. The melodies of Saraswati's veena resonated in the hearts of the Brahmaviders with the students of Prachin Kala Parishad. The special assembly started with Saraswati Vandana, a dance piece prepared by the PPI students. The guitar students caught everyone by surprise when they performed Indian classical music, which was followed by more performances by the music, dance and art students. A live painting session brought both joy and awe to the students and teachers. With a synergy of rhythmic and artistic skills, the Brahmaviders boasted their skills once again on the last cultural celebration of this session, with prayers to Maa Saraswati to guide us all towards the path of knowledge and enlightenment.

Brahmaviders never shy away from challenges and opportunities. One such occasion was the Ashoka World School Painting Competition (Kochi-Kerala) 2023-24. It was an interstate school art competition where all schools from Chhattisgarh participated. The participants were given the theme – Chhattisgarh; A Glimpse into the Beauty and Culture – which is not just celebrated in BTGS every day but also internalised by each member of the school community. Needless to say, the young Brahmaviders proved themselves on this huge and amazing platform. It was a proud moment on 14 February 2024, when after a celebration of Basant Panchami, five students were awarded for ranking among the best 28 entries. The students and teachers could not be any happier when Devika Pal, a student of Grade 8, won the FIRST position in Chhattisgarh. We congratulate all our winners and wish them the best for the upcoming year as well.

It was another leadership activity taken up by Brahmavid the Global School to encourage and inculcate the young Brahmaviders to become innovators. The "School Innovation Council", or SIC is a CBSE initiative taken up by BTGS, where different activities are regularly conducted in BTGS, that gives the young minds direction and power to think out of the box.

The topic for January 2024 was- *Motivational Session by successful Innovators/entrepreneurs from schools/colleges*

At our school this session was presided over by a creative innovator and entrepreneur Ms. Pankhuri Padarha.

In this interactive session,  multiple topics were covered, such as— the concept of design, innovation, creativity, entrepreneurship, management, marketing and so on.

In this session, Ms. Pankhuri  shared about her journey from being a design student at MIT, working in a corporate to owning her own business (Jungle Parade), where she is a one woman army juggling between all the chores of a business.

All the staff and students thoroughly enjoyed this experience. There could not have been any better example or inspiration to look towards and get inspired.

Thankyou @ Jungle Parade.

“A balanced life needs a balanced body, mind, heart and spirit.” The students of Grade 11 discussed in groups the four saws to sharpen - body, mind, heart and spirit. They shared some plans that they will follow. The students shared their opinions by understanding the essence of the story - “The Dull Saw” and how sharpening the saw creates better output. The most interesting element was when students answered the question - “ If you have ever lost a skill, talent or knowledge over time? What was it and how did you lose it? What is the solution? ” This question gave them food for thought and the solution is none other than sharpening the saw and continuous renewal. It was another interactive class in the string of LIM classes.

Science-Project Based Learning, reinforce the scientific concepts that students encounter in their classroom and connects these scientific practices and the real world. To ignite the curiosity of Brahmaviders of Grade 5, they were engaged to approach meaningful learning by making a project on Simple Machines, therein the students made the models of inclined plane, screw and wedge. They demonstrated the working of these Simple Machines in our daily life.

Youth parliament is a platform offered to youngsters where they are given a mock parliament set-up and exposure to a debate akin to the parliament.

Brahmaviders of Grade 8 conducted the BTGS Youth Parliament Winter Session 2023-24 this Saturday, 3rd of February, 2024. The matters raised in the Youth Parliament were related to the subjects of welfare activities, defence of the country, social justice, social reforms, economic development, communal harmony, education, govt. welfare schemes, health, student discipline etc. Students participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. The debate gave the students an understanding of how the parliament works and encouraged them to take an active role in Indian politics. This was an example of perfect integration between Linguistic, Inter and Intrapersonal, and Kinesthetic Skills, through which the youngsters gained hands-on experience in a parliament.

Chinese Philosopher Lao Tzu once said, "Know yourself and you will win all battles." Sports, is one of the ways where young ones recognise themselves and learn their strengths and weaknesses. They learn the significance of teamwork and dedication.

Games and sports have become integral elements of present-day education. They teach students the qualities of discipline, sportsmanship, team spirit, and leadership. They also enhance the physical and mental development of children. Integrating kinesthetic, interpersonal and intrapersonal skills, along with academics gives the Brahmaviders extra edge and confidence to achieve their goals.

Brahmavid The Global School celebrated the Annual Sports Day on 25th January 2024 amidst a lot of fun and frolic. While the inter-house competitions were going on for a while, the prize distribution and final matches took place on 25th January 2024. The day was filled with cheers and the thrill of winning. The four houses of BTGS— Mandar, Kalptaru, Haricanda and Parijat waited eagerly to find out about the winning house. By the end of the day, the teachers and the students came together to celebrate the achievements of their respective houses.

Truly, champions are never made in the gyms. They are made from something they have deep inside them – their desires, dreams and visions.

"Every ending is a new beginning. "With this optimistic and special motto, Brahmaviders gave a hearty farewell to the students of Grade 12, the first batch of the school, on 27 January 2024, Saturday. The event began with a melodious song dedicated to the 12th Graders. The most special and emotional moment was when the teachers who have nurtured these students shared their feelings and experiences about the growth and progress of the students since the inception year of the school. Teachers also left heartfelt messages for the students with blessings for their future lives.  The programme became enchanting with a sparkling dance performance and passing on the legacy from the students of Grade 12 to the students of Grade 11.

The event concluded on an aspiring note as the students wrote their wishes on the helium balloons and released them into the air. However, the celebration continued as they left sweet, silly and mischievous messages for each other on their t-shirts. Hence, a wonderfully earnest memory was created and deposited in the emotional bank accounts of the Brahmaviders.

‘Seek First to Understand then to be Understood.’

The habit is very significant and self-explanatory. It implies understanding first and then responding. The habit was further expounded by the students of Grade 11 through a role play on various situations where using persuasive language and messages resolves various life issues. The learners were able to differentiate between the “You” message and the “I” message where the “you” message is a reactive response and I message is a proactive and persuasive response. This was illustrated very well by depicting various interesting situations in the form of a role-play. The students also created some practical situations along with some humorous elements.

The learners also made the class interactive and worthwhile through peer teaching and peer learning. Two students from the class came forward for the class engagement and posed several questions related to the concept of “Then to be understood.”

The class ended on a learning note where students wrote persuasive responses in their journals for the given situations. It was a joyful and interactive class.

The enchanting dance performances by BTGS Little Rising Stars were a visual treat for both judges and audience. This vibrant and exhilarating competition not only showcased the immense talent and dedication of kindergarten students but also served as a radiant celebration of Republic Day. "The Constitution is not a mere lawyer's document, it is a vehicle of Life, and its spirit is always the spirit of Age." - B.R. Ambedkar

Democracy is not just a system; it's a way of life. Today, at BTGS we celebrated the 75th Republic Day with great zeal and enthusiasm. The auspicious day began with the unfurling of the National Flag by our honourable Chairman Shri Krishna Kumar Nathani Sir.

The most wonderful part of the celebration was the dazzling and flawless March Past by the students.

It was a proud moment for everyone to witness the synchronised demonstration collaborating with rhythm. Also, the dance performance of our talented residential students on the Chattisgarh State song was icing on the cake. They took the opportunity with both hands and represented the culture of our incredible state.

The occasion went to its peak when the winners of the Indradhanush Art Fest were awarded with the token of achievement. Overall the morning unfurled colourful package of patriotism, entertainment and joy.

On 22 January 2024, the whole nation came together to witness the biggest moment of this century and bowed its head in reverence and devotion to the Maryada Purushottam, Shri Ram Chandra . The facilitators and residential students gathered at the Auditorium, to witness the live telecast of Pran Pratishtha ceremony from the hallowed grounds of Ayodhya. The auspicious 84 seconds consecrated the air of the country and BTGS campus was not excluded from its glory. The facilitators, along with their mentor and Academic Director,    Mrs. Shobha Padarha, contributed to the sublime beauty of the day in their very unique way. Shri Ramchandra, with his countless ways to teach people about life and spirituality, was revered as the ultimate teacher and leader and the facilitators took away his teachings with a new perspective. The day ended in a very Brahmavidesque way, where music, dance, and literature mingled with each other. The divine melodies synchronised perfectly and morphed into the prayer for wellness, love, and purest intentions.

The Brahmaviders wrapped up their celebration with the thought— ‘Ram’ is endless.

‘Ram’ is the smile on our lips. ‘Ram’ is the tears of love. ‘Ram’ is sacrifice. ‘Ram’ is the beginning of everything. More importantly, ‘Ram’ is the light within. Let us bring forth the light of our goodness and brighten up our community, our society, and our nation.

Jai Shree Ram.

Brahmavid the Global School saw many developments this session, but none of those would have been possible without the continuous support and guidance of the learned mentors. On 16th and 17th January 2024, a very enthusiastic mentor, Dr Ritu Roy, graced BTGS with her presence and guided the facilitators on their latest project—the Leader in Me Programme. It was the first Audit session.Throughout the session, it has been witnessed how the LIM programme is shaping the Brahmaviders into leaders. By the end of the session, the hard work of facilitators and students was assessed , when Dr Roy, LIM Coach and Mentor, arrived at the classrooms. Students interacted with her without showing any hesitation and shared their opinions on several given situations. The physical and emotional environment of the school was highly charged with optimism. The day ended with another interactive session where the facilitators celebrated their success with Dr Roy and discussed their challenges and achievements, and the significance of a positive emotional environment at a school.

Making the mission and vision of the school very true, the facilitators and students discovered themselves in a new light with Seven Habits, and that is where the goal of the organisation became one with the goals of the individuals. It was Win-Win for all.

Major assemblies are part of the celebrations done in BTGS, that present unique learning objectives for the Brahmaviders. On 17 January 2024, another extraordinary learning experience was arranged for the students. The entire programme was an integration of two topics.

Guru Gobind Singh Ji is one of the most revered figures of Indian history and culture. Guru Gobind Singh Jayanti is a Sikh festival and a religious celebration that commemorates the birthday of a warrior, philosopher, poet and mainly the tenth Sikh Guru. To ignite the spirit of the noble teachings of Guru Gobind Singh Ji within us, and meditate on the path of service and devotion laid out by his teachings and by his life, Grade 3A Students performed shabad in the Atrium for the major assembly.

Safety is an important aspect of our lives, and we must take it seriously. Safety measures are not just a matter of following rules and regulations but also about adopting a safety culture as a way of life.

Grade 3A, B, and C students presented the safety measures for the major assembly on safety rules, where the Brahmaviders were reminded that safety is everyone’s responsibility. Following safety guidelines, wearing safety gear, and reporting safety hazards are some measures we can take to ensure safety.

The integration was done with the perfect synergy of rhythmic, kinesthetic and interpersonal skills, which gave everyone a perfect learning experience.

Kudos little ones!

Drop Everything And Read

Reading is a passport to countless adventures.

Brahmavid The Global School’s unique event to promote reading habits among students, teachers, and non-teaching staff members took place on the 12th of January, 2024. D. E. A. R. Time is dedicated to those who keep complaining— there are so many books to read, and so little time. This event is also dedicated to those, who get lost in the dilemma— what to read and how to start. Reading is another way of dreaming, with our eyes wide open, and to help the young Brahmaviders understand that, a whole period of reading was given to them. Students stepped out of the four walls of their classroom, found refuge in different corners of the school, and discovered the lovely place that was hidden between the pages of their books.

All power is within you; you can do anything and everything!

-Swami Vivekananda

Celebrations are a significant part of Indian culture and We, the Brahmaviders, always take pride in celebrating the festivals with great enthusiasm. This was an exuberant event of a Special Assembly conducted by the students of Grade 8 on the auspicious occasion of “MAKAR SANKRANTI” merged with “National Youth Day”. The assembly was conducted on the 12th of January 2024, Friday.

It was delightful to experience the coordination of students to bring out the best in them. While the group song initiated a motivational spirit, a special dance performance celebrating the festival of kites rejuvenated the audience to a great extent. After that, we witnessed a heart-touching Drama based on Swami Vivekananda’s life journey followed by a Quiz. Overall the assembly was a perfect blend of joy, harmony and empowerment wherein the students showcased their kinesthetic, linguistic, musical and interpersonal skills.

Pablo Picasso once said, “Every child is an artist; the problem is staying an artist when you grow up”.

Brahmavid the Global School is a community built by not only children but also adults who hold responsible positions in society. Indradhanush, the annual Art Fest of BTGS was hosted on the first Saturday of the year, January 6th, 2024, open to all the stakeholders of the organisation. This event was made successful by the Brahmaviders, along with their friends and family members. The BTGS campus saw children experiencing the joy of art, and adults holding paintbrushes and returning to the joy of childhood, reviving the children inside them. Few moments as such bring us such joy and pride, and this was one of them. True to it’s name, the school campus turned into a rainbow (Indradhanush) of bonding and happiness as the creations were exhibited. Hence it was proved, “Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life.”

What better way to call in the vacations for the little ones, then with an integrated Diwali & Children’s Day celebration.

The environment radiated colours and excitement as children showcased their creativity, crafting diyas with paper cut-outs, glitters, stones, and sequins. Kindergarten teachers danced to various tunes for their beloved students. The event concluded with great enthusiasm. We extend warm wishes for a Happy Diwali and Children's Day from the BTGS family.

"The festive fervour resumes at Brahmavid the Global School. Diwali being the festival of lights also signifies the victory of good over evil. The students of Grade 11 portrayed the essence of Diwali festival in the morning assembly. The story of Lord Ram was depicted through spectacular performances like dance drama and devotional songs. Additionally, the quiz on Diwali also added the interactive element in the assembly. It was a joyous and festive celebration that brought the school together yet again."

Training the tiny decision makers!

As part of the “Leader In Me" program, an activity was conducted to teach Upper Kindergarten students the key concept of Habit 3, "Put First Things First," focusing on the "Big Rocks." The big rocks represent the important aspects of life, while small pebbles symbolise less significant tasks. Through a hands-on exercise, students placed Big Rocks in a jar, which need to be addressed first and then placed small pebbles which can be addressed later. This activity facilitated awareness of time allocation, emphasising the significance of identifying and prioritising important elements in their lives.

On 17 October, 2023, the students of Brahmavid the Global School visited Devbhog Milk Processing Unit, Raipur and saw the multiple steps and intricacies of milk processing. The curiosity of the students had an outburst, in the form of unlimited queries on how the packaging is done, how the milk is tested and expiry dates are decided, why they dilute the milk, and how milk powder is made. Under the kind guidance of their teachers, they were also explained about ways to save energy and resources. This joyful trip was a great learning experience for the students to cherish.

Welcome to the world of opportunities and experiential learning at Brahmavid The Global School. As parents we want our children to speak confidently and fearlessly. We at Brahmavid The Global School are shaping and facilitating the young minds through integrated learning and Peer Teaching methodology. Peer Teaching helps the children to come out of their shells and learn to develop partnership skills. This year on the occasion of Mental Health Awareness week dated from 06/10/23 - 10/10/23 students at BTGS taught each other the techniques of taking care of their mental health through Art integration and Peer Teaching. Together they learnt that Mental Health is Universal Right. We thank the facilitators for their support in helping out the students to reach their goal.

A little slice of paradise...@BTGS The word Pizza can bring a twinkle in the eyes of the little ones. This is what exactly happened when the young learners of grade 2 visited Domino’s Pizza outlet along with their teachers and experienced the entire process of Pizza making. Pizza dough turning into a Pizza was a delight for them. Students experienced the chilled environment inside the refrigerator room. They flattened the dough to form a base, spread pizza sauce, sprinkled mozzarella cheese, added toppings of their choice and finally baked the same in the oven. The children relished the Pizza which they prepared on their own. It was overall a wonderful learning experience for them. They were delighted and grateful to their teachers for the memorable trip.

A day of wonders - Our little ones at the supermarket. Our little visitors of BTGS had an experiential field trip to Shubham K Mart on 9/10/23 . They were super excited for the trip and it was a wonderful opportunity for them to develop Multiple Intelligence Skills. At the supermarket, they learnt how to organise and sort things as the things were organised in different sections in the supermarket which enhanced their logical-mathematical skills. Interaction with the store staff, teachers and classmates about the products they saw there helped them develop their interpersonal skills. This field trip was an enjoyable learning experience for the students of Nursery.

We are delighted to inform you that two of our BTGS Students were selected for the SGFI Raipur Division, a state-level football event, and played a significant part in the School Games Federation of India (SGFI) Raipur team. SGFI Raipur trounced SGFI Bilaspur by 5-3, with both of our students Ms Nupur Katri and Ms Salvi Singh of Grade 12 scoring goals. Congratulations on the Achievement

A classroom in nature’s lap is soothing and enjoyable. It was an exhilarating day for our BTGS students of LKG and UKG, when they visited the Nature Care nursery on Monday, 9th October 2023. The children were delighted to see the colourful arrays of plants and flowers. The names of some plants like 'China doll', 'Song of India', 'Bird of paradise' left them giggling. They couldn't stop marveling at the various hues of yellow, purple, pink, orange flowers adorning the rows of nursery beds. The excitement and joy on their faces when they pointed out to some indoor and outdoor, ferns, palm, trees and flowering plants that they too have these plants at their home, was worth watching. The trip proved to be a classroom away from school, where they observed different colours, shapes, shades and textures of leaves and flowers.

Digitalization has given wings to communication but the role of Postal services cannot be ignored. Brahmavid The Global School has organised the educational trip to Post Office today (06/10/2023) for the young learners of grade 1. The students were accompanied by their teachers, and were shown different stamps of India. They went through the ‘Sorting’ section where they got acquainted with the process of delivery of letters or other smaller parcels at their respective addresses. Thereafter, they were taken to the various counters for public services where they learnt how to buy stamps, letters, etc. They had the opportunity to meet a POSTMAN, too. The most memorable part of today's visit was the letters wrote by the children to their dear ones, which they had posted in the cute post box prepared by the school to get a feel of sending their love and gratitude to their loved ones. It gave them an insight into the very traditional but a vital means of communication. It was indeed a joyful FIELD TRIP Integrated with experiential learning.

History and Nature!!!

The day started a little early around 5 am with the wake-up call and by 6 am students boarded the bus for the assembly point at Mae De Deus Church, Saligao which was the start point for the Heritage Walk through the very old Saligao village of Goa.

Ms Adolfina Tham from Soul Travelling #soultravelling was the tour guide. She shared the minute details of the life of people in the village, their lifestyle, daily routine, beliefs, and architecture of the houses.  Walking through the narrow lanes students were so engrossed in listening to her and asking questions that it was around two and half hour of walk and the curiosity of students were neverending.

The major attraction of the walk was the visit to a house built in 1890 and meeting the family who is living in it, the family welcomed the students and gave details about the wall painting, handmade tiles, thick walls of the house and a pretty old lady 86 years old who is the owner of this heritage house.

Post heritage walk students had their breakfast and it was their relaxing time to get ready for the Gardening Workshop to be held post lunch.

At around 3:30 pm students boarded the bus to reach Dasya: The Good Place, which is a community-based garden space for Gardening Workshop by Ms Tanushree Bhushan, the facilitator who promotes sustainable farming and an educator. Ms Mehak and Ms Tanushree from the Museum of Goa (MOG) were of continuous support in carrying out the program.#museumofgoa

Students learned the technique of sowing the seed and also the key to the successful growth of a kitchen garden. They were appraised of the various kinds of edible plants and were also able to analyze their eating habits and trends which they need to change towards achieving a healthy lifestyle.

To relax, enjoy and have fun, we organized a surprise DJ Party at the resort. After a long day of Heritage walk and gardening workshop, students were thrilled but the energy level was still high to rock the dance floor.  We concluded Day 3 by celebrating the birthday of one of the students and ensured that he doesn’t miss his family back home.

Educational and Cultural Enrichment Program l Day-1 (1st May) | 1st-10th May 2023

Hurrah!!!

The Fun Begins!!!

Day 1 - Educational and Cultural Enrichment Program

The enthusiastic students reported at the Swami Vivekanand International Airport, Raipur with all their luggage at 8 am and parents handed them to the BTGS team. The students happily said bye to their parents whereas parents waited till the students entered the departure gate. The students were briefed before the entry at the airport. It was a learning experience for the students to check in at the airport, get their baggage scanned, reach the ticket counter to drop off luggage and collect their boarding passes and then get their security check done.

Once all the students completed their security check they all enjoyed a yummy breakfast and it was time to board the flight from Gate no 8. People and staff at Airport were enquiring from students about their trip which added to the excitement and enthusiasm.

Students enjoyed their prebooked meals on the flight and played games to have fun and gala time as it was a long flight.

It was pretty sunny when we landed at Dabolim Airport, Goa but the students' energy level was worth seeing. It was lunchtime and we found a restaurant on the way to our resort. It was a better idea to refuel ourselves as once we reached the resort students were going to get crazy to go on the beach and the same thing happened.

Once we reached the resort at Candolim in North Goa, students checked in their rooms and were ready to head towards the Candolim beach. The students enjoyed the sunset view and did a lot of masti making sand castles.

It was 7:30 pm students headed towards the resort to freshen up and assemble for dinner at the multi-cuisine restaurant at the resort.

Post dinner there was a standup to check the health status of the students, students who proactively participated throughout the day were appreciated and this standup was a part of everyday routine.

Students after the hectic schedule were still left with the energy to have a party time in their rooms and were awake till late at night when one of the BTGS team members went for checking in rooms.

With all the series of events, we concluded Day 1 which was travelling to the destination and acclimatization day.
