“DEAR TIME” is organised every year in BTGS campus with each and every member in the campus participating. This year 2020, we planned it virtually and our parents and grandparents joined in as well, along with our students. Students could pick up any book of their choice and it was simple- Drop Everything And Read.

Here comes the biggest festival of the country - Diwali. A grandeur festival of lights & prosperity. Diwali is a national festival that is enjoyed and celebrated by all communities of India with different beliefs. Diwali signifies light over darkness, good over evil and knowledge over ignorance. A five-day celebration that includes good food, fireworks, coloured sand, special candles and lamps. Where it commemorates everything good, bright, colourful & illuminating; Our little Brahmaviders are here with their unique & bright preparations for the big day. They are not just lighting up their homes but the hearts of everyone around by the beautiful decorations they are trying around.

Christmas time is one of the most joyful holidays of the year, celebrated by many nationalities, ages and religions.

Amid the bustle of gifts under the tree and dinners with friends and family, there is no doubt that Christmas means something different for everyone, but at the core, it remains a season inspired by reflection, selflessness and charity.

This Christmas, we the BTGS family encouraged our students to participate in various activities, staying at home. Our Teachers turned into Santa and visited each online classroom, to spread joy and wish Merry Christmas!! Christmas carols were sung along with the teachers.

Let’s take some time to reflect with gratitude and spread love and goodwill to ALL.

A celebration wherein families get together, friends indulge in merry-making, light lamps and diyas as well as gorge on sweet delicacies. However, Diwali is not just about burning candles and fireworks but also rediscovering your inner peace. So, we indulged our Gr 1-9 students in such discovering activities like making scrapbooks, decorating homes, knowing and sharing more about Diwali. These young minds bathe their homes and BTGS in such luminescence that there is no place for any darkness.

One name to always mention in the list of Great Indian Leaders is Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel - As the first Deputy Prime Minister of India. His work was characterized by excellence. While we pay homage to the "Iron Man Of India" on his birthday, let us also acknowledge his efforts in uniting the nation. His views on National Unity and qualities of excelling, is what we look forward to pass on to our children! In memory of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, BTGS students of grades 5 to 9, expressed their thoughts and paid their glorification to the esteemed!

This 1st November 2020, Chhattisgarh celebrated its 20th CG Foundation Day.

When we say “ छत्तीसगढ़िया सबले बढ़िया “ it is not just a saying but an emotion. Emotion that carries praise & pride for our state. Chhattisgarh -an emerging state which is known as Electricity Hub, Rice Bowl and also known for its agricultural capacity and Steel factories; Also apparent in tribal/folk dance forms, songs, natural beauty & bounty. So to get to grips with the occasion, BTGS students from Kindergarten to grade 9 celebrated in different ways.

This Navratri, we tried to give that joy of fulfilment to the children through our online task engagements. But one of an integral part of this nine days festival, being missed this year by all age groups is definitely a Garba, which is one of the dance forms considered to be performed as “Maa ki aaradhana.” People love to perform Garba. So, during our ongoing gala on Navratri theme, we arranged an online Garba event for our children and their family members. BTGS students and their family members wore traditional attire/Garba costumes and joined us in the celebration with their dashing dance moves.

The nine days of Navratri gave us immense joy, peace and spirituality followed by the 10th day of Vijayadashmi/Dussehra - which commemorates the killing of the demon Mahisasura by Goddess Durga & also the destruction of Ravana by Lord Rama. Dussehra is celebrated in myriad ways, but within all celebrations lies the same essence of celebrating the victory of GOOD OVER EVIL. BTGS KG kids acknowledged the tradition & celebrated the Dussehra fest with vibrancy & ethnicity. Kids joyously pitched in, choosing out of multiple activities assigned to them. This Online Dussehra celebration by our kids is definitely a spectacle to behold!

Since we were children to raising the children, we have been gaining and passing on the treasure of our cultural heritage to the next generations. That's why BTGS children are having fun during the online Navratri celebration. When we talk about Navratri and all aspects of it, one thing which also attracts us always is "Maata Ki Laal Chunari" - which is a symbol of modesty, virtue, probity, honour and respect. On the Navratri day 7 of online celebrations, students of grades 5 to 9 were assigned a task of Chunri making. Children designed beautiful Chunaris by using available resources at home and paid their courtesy to Adishakti.

We at BTGS discovered our different ways of cherishing festivities online with our kids. As the nine-day cultural extravaganza of Navratri festival is the heart and soul of our country, children were also passionate about the online celebrations. Few days back, our KG kids rocked the ramp with their stylish walk and now our grade 1 and 2 students are giving them a competition by taking the charge of ramp floor with a flamboyant show! Having a same theme of traditional and indo-western attire. Cheers to the little superstars! With this, we share the 8th day glimpses of BTGS online Navratri celebrations.

The festival of Navratri comes with a promise of 𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗳𝘂𝗻, 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰, 𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱. It is one of the most vivacious festivals celebrated in the country. During this fair, people across the country perform 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘆𝗮 𝗥𝗮𝗮𝘀. The sticks of Dandiya dance represent the 𝘀𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗼𝗱𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗗𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗮. As something exciting is pipelined for students in online celebration next level, in the coming days, to get ready for an upcoming task, today on day 5, students were asked to prepare and decorate their Dandiya sticks. Children made and shared pictures of their 𝗰𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘆𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘀.

BTGS Online Navratri Celebrations are reciprocated by kids with a great spirit and we together are leaving no stone unturned to sparkle the event. As we know, each festival has its own significance but the ultimate purpose is to worship & seek blessings of wisdom, health, peace, knowledge and prosperity from our divine. And while we do that, there is also a custom of offering a “𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐝” 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐢𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐯𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐨𝐝’𝐬 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞.

So, in array to the ongoing observance, in Navratri day 6 festive task, students of grades 5 to 9 prepared different types of “Prasad” at home and offered to “Maa” with love and devotion. While making “Prasad” - Some of them seeked help from guardians and some also preferred fireless cooking methods.

Navratri is a season of joyous celebration and festivity which includes a lot of praise and enthusiasm. To enhance the charm of festival and to take BTGS online Navratri celebration to the next step, on the 3rd day, children of Gr 3 and 4 took part in an activity of making Garlands and Torans. As, 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀 : 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘆𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝘂𝘁𝘆, 𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲, 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, and are used by various cultures across the country.

Festivities bring out a chirpy, bright and happy side to our personalities. The beauty of our culturally diverse country is each festival is celebrated with great enthusiasm! BTGS Online Navratri celebrations are in full swing too! How these little rock-stars are rocking the red carpet with their modish ramp walk, painting the town a rainbow with their vibrant attires is mesmerising. On the 4th day of carnival, our kindergarteners in traditional and indo-western dress styles cheerfully performed a ramp walk.

𝗡𝗮𝘃𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶 is held in honour of the divine feminine. Each year, on each day of Navratri, Incarnation of “Maa Durga” is worshipped to celebrate her victory over Mahishasura, and the ultimate victory of 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝘃𝗶𝗹. We at BTGS, inculcate the importance of festivals & rituals in our children. So, what could have been better than beginning this auspicious occasion with a delightful 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗼𝗹𝗶 - 𝗮 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 & 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗺𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀!

BTGS students of Grade 3 & 4 celebrated 1st day of “Navratri” in a unique way, by accomplishing a task of making Rangoli at home. Children shared their beautiful rangolis made with flowers, petals, leaves, diyas & rangoli colors.

In continuation of BTGS Online Navratri celebration activities, to bring our children closer to the Indian traditions; On the second day of holy festival, grade 1 and 2 children decorated thalis, to offer their pure love and prayers to “Maa” and seek blessings from her of 𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 & 𝗯𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘀. These small devotees decorated their thalis with illuminating diyas, flowers, akshat & other decorative items, following a traditional dress code.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐚 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲.
At BTGS, we value this desire of our tiny minds and give them ample space to learn along with craft which helps develop their fine motor skills.

Students of LKG, in the process of knowing about birds and their habitat, completed a task of making Pop - up Bird. Children utilized materials like ice-cream sticks, paper plates and paper cut-outs.

Students of grade 1 were assigned a task of arranging and sorting different types of leaves and forming a new shape, following the tutorial shared by the teacher. Children shared their elegant piece of work: Fishes, Turtles, Flowers, Butterflies, Birds etc. made with various types of leaves.

Students learnt : A leaf can be used as food, decoration items, food serving plates. Above all benefits, leaves of the different plants are also used in making medicines in Ayurveda.

BTGS students of Gr 1 to 4 paid their respect, love & honour towards Mahatma Gandhi on his birth anniversary in such a fascinating way.

On the occasion, children shared their drawings of Gandhiji, some imitated him, some shared the great quotes spelled by him & some also presented the 3 monkeys representing the messages given by him.

𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬. 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐠𝐢𝐟𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐜𝐲.

We at BTGS support the thought & inculcate an attitude of moral values in our students.

Recently our students of grade 2 were assigned a quest to make a “Family Tree”. While representing their family relations in a conventional tree structure, they could connect the dots and could also know more about the distant members of family.

Brahmavid is all about experiential learning and in this process, when the students perform activities themselves they learn the concepts for life.

Recently while learning “PRONOUNS”, children successfully completed a task of 𝐭𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 & 𝐩𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐮𝐩𝐬. They utilized each tower block by writing a pronoun over it. And the challenge was the block or glass shouldn’t topple.

This year on 2nd October 2020, the 151st birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi was observed Virtual @ BTGS. Mahatma Gandhi also known as “Bapu” & “Rashtrapita”; He not only contributed to India's freedom struggle but also inspired people across the world. We at Brahmavid thoroughly follow this practice of avoiding any sort of discrimination. Taking this path of truth & kindness, we can see our children growing with the same moral values. Sharing the glimpses of Gandhi Jayanti celebration by our Kindergarteners.

Holding 'Shiksha Parv' was recommended by Hon. Prime minister Narendra Modi and was being celebrated between September 8th to 25th, to felicitate teachers and take the New Education Policy forward. Kindergarten kids of BTGS showed their active participation during this fest, by imitating their teachers. They were seen teaching their family members or house helps/their kids. This fest is an icon of spreading awareness about importance of education.

At BTGS, Art is as vital as nourishment.

During Art - time, children are engaged in various painting experiences. To add a newness, this time UKG kids did “Ear bud” painting.

Such activities provide opportunity to use different tools & mediums. Sharing the artwork done by our little masters.

BTGS Gr 1 students anticipated a task to learn about “VERBS”, where they used balloons & performed various actions.

Verbs are the words that talk about our actions, or what we do, and they are a very important part of our vocabulary. There is always at least 1 verb in every sentence.

“𝐆𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞, 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧, 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦 𝐚 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐫 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧”. There is music in every child. The teacher’s task is to find it and nurture it. As a fact 20% of children learn music & 70% adults wish they had.

To keep the learning process going, we at BTGS are continuing to focus on the overall development of children. Focusing on “Musical Intelligence” digitally is a part of it.

Technology every day demands a renovation in the Teaching-learning process.

BTGS practising all 21st century skills, keeps adapting & upgrading the teaching process as per the need of time & technologies.

Taking yet another innovative approach, our teachers included the “AUGMENTED REALITY” concept in our virtual classes.

Augmented Reality : let us see the real-life environment right in front of us, with a digital augmentation overlaid on it.

When we talk about 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 at BTGS, we also encourage children to develop an interest in it from a very young age.

This time, it was our UKG kids, during an Art-time, took a task of Robot making. Kids enjoyed the activity and created their own little Machine friend. Such activities help ignite curiosity & develop an interest in STEM subjects.

Grandparents day Celebration by BTGS students of grade 1 to 3

Grandparents are the footsteps to the future generations.

Children need these essentials the most that Grandparents provide in abundance-Unconditional love, patience, care, kindness, & comfort.

We at BTGS witness our students’ joice with a little task of reincarnating the bond with Grandparents and to cherish the love on Grandparents day.

It is very important to help children become aware of love, strength, information & guidance that Grandparents can offer. Children love their grandparents throughout & vice versa, but there’s this special day to celebrate as Grandparents Day. BTGS takes initiative in being a part of this special bond & gives children ample opportunity to show their honour towards elderly. In our recent posts, you might have seen the pictures of the Grandparents day activities.

Grandparents play many roles like parents, teachers & forever best friends.

“They are grandchildrens’ 1st love & grandchildren are their last love”

Value based education being one of the core factors at BTGS; This Grandparents day, we gave our little ones a task of celebrating it in a special way by doing some small activities which can make their grandparents happier. No wonder, they performed it really well in a mesmerising way.

BTGS students across the grades participated and left no stone unturned to thank and please their teachers. We shared glimpses of students expressing gratitude towards their teachers in our earlier posts. But, when it comes to the appreciation of a teacher, every single wish counts!

Hereby sharing the remaining pictures & Screenshots of Gr 1 to 3 students celebrating teachers’ day digitally, during their online classes.

Through the sound waves or vibrations, our brain recognizes sounds made by different objects. Identifying the sound and determining its category is what gradually develops in kids. With an ongoing topic of “Sounds I Hear”, Gr 1 students were assigned a musical task.

Task: To make different sounds through different instruments/spoons/plates or any other available resources.

In our previous posts, We introduced you to the creatives prepared by students of BTGS thanking their teachers on occasion of Teachers' day. Time to represent their videos, where they have taken an effort to speak their emotions delightfully about their teachers.

Teachers encourage minds to think, hands to create & hearts to care. The same little hearts grow up and showcase their creative thinking to pay regards to their teachers. BTGS students from Grade 4 to 9 expressed their thankfulness and honored their teachers in a remarkable way.

A teacher plants the seeds of knowledge, sprinkles them with love & care. Children reward them back with sweet fruits of respect, love & appreciation.

Though Teacher appreciation is welcomed all year round at BTGS, there is this special day to remember & celebrate - “Teachers’ Day”

On the occasion of Teachers’ day, BTGS LKG & UKG kids expressed gratitude towards their teachers in this unique way.

There’s a well said learning from ‘Lion and Mouse’ Story - “Everything has its own value”

We took our LKG youngsters on a virtual tour of this story. To visualize the same, kids made masks of Lion & Mouse. Kids enjoyed the activity during their online classes. The activity helped in enhancing the artistic intelligence and develop fine motor skill of the students.

Story visualization is an important aspect while reading a story.

To bring “Dog and the bone”to practical experience, kids were asked to prepare a Dog Mask.

Each child painted a Dog mask very artistically.

Everything around us involves Mathematics. Everything around us has a shape.

To get affirmation on concept of shapes and patterns, Students of Gr3 were assigned an activity.

Task : To make borders on a handkerchief using various shapes.

Children made vivid patterns on a handkerchief using available shapes around them.

“Art and Craft” has a vital role in BTGS education system.

Art and Craft help nurture kids creativity & imagination.

This time, our small painters from UKG have done Tie-Dye activity.

Tie-dye is used to create a wide variety of designs on fabric, from standard patterns to beautiful works of art.

Our basic concept was to explain : colors do not always fade when dipped in plain water.

In addition - It’s one of the best fine motor activities for promoting hand strength and coordination in a fun and playful way.

BTGS believes in Experiential learning.

Keeping the “Best out of waste” theme, students of Gr2 were assigned a task to make models on subtraction facts.

Children utilized pencil shavings and recycled other waste items to land up designing alluring flower models. In this way, children learnt subtraction facts of number 9 in a creative way.

Wherever there are animals, there’s always an opportunity for caring, compassion and kindness

Caring for animals is a perfect way to build empathy.

Children of UKG were assigned an activity on animals, with below topics :

1. Creating a model of a jungle/zoo using any old toy animals.

2. Making an animal face mask and pretending to be an animal.

3. Showing an animal toy and speaking 4 - 5 lines about it.

4. Singing a song on animals

5. Drawing a beautiful jungle/zoo

We all possess love and gratitude towards our Pets.

So do the children. Taking care of an animal instills a sense of responsibility and respect.

UKG students were assigned an activity to talk about Pet animals.

Purpose Met: Kids learnt that all living beings need more than just food and water for survival.

Sight, Smell, Taste, Sound & Touch - These words may sound very familiar to us as adults.

But for Kids, “Senses & the sense organs” are interesting & important topic to explore. To unlock the curiosities of young minds, we asked them to create their own model for sense organs with the help of clay. Kids of Gr2 made clay models of sense organs. We also got videos of kids explaining roles of different sense organs.

Shelter is one of the basic necessities of a human being.

BTGS practices Experiential Learning and to practically experience and explore the need of a house and why do we have different rooms in it? Children of Gr 1 were assigned tasks to make a house with the help of matchsticks, straws, toothpicks or groom sticks.

To make it more exciting, the activity was divided into two parts-

Students with Initial letter A to J had to write the names of different types of room in a house and the students with the letters K to Z had to write about why do we need a house?

Children loved drawing and making houses of their choice.

Drawing gives children a chance to draw their imagination into reality.

Students of Gr2 were indulged in making scary mask and naming it.

Based on one of their story, where a young boy overcomes his fear by wearing a scary mask. The activity helped them understand the moral to be fearless & confident like the Hero of their story Scaredy Sam.

Children named their Masks - Corona, Snake, Night monster etc.

We did a puppet making task with our Gr1 students.

Activity was related to their lesson “Sense Organs”. Task was to make a puppet of sock and then speak 5 lines about sense organs by using a Puppet.

Kids performed the activity very enthusiastically and confidently.

Every child is an artist given a chance

BTGS gave kids an opportunity to create their favorite stuff with available resources while staying at home. The little artists of Gr 1 were asked to make things, animals, places with stone and clay.

They used stones and clay in quite innovative manner.

Ganesha is the God of knowledge and wisdom. Every year we welcome him with much of Grace and Enthusiasm. Same level of happiness and excitement is seen in children for this Ganeshotsav. Lot of innovative ideas and creativity was seen during online Ganesha Making Activity. Here are the Glimpses of Ganesha made by the little stars of BTGS.

Get Introduced to these tiny dress designers of BTGS.

Our students are creating their own wardrobe by designing & crafting these dresses with paper.

The cloth making activity helped develop their imagination and creative skills. They got to learn, that different occasions and seasons have different kinds of outfit.

Learning process accelerates when children get to implement their classroom learning with family members. BTGS keeps on acknowledging all such opportunities.

Students of Gr1 were encouraged to recite a poem with any of their family members.

We could observe their cheerfulness in the process.

Inculcating the Reflection in our little Gems of BTGS by a small Activity, to Make them aware of our prestigious Indian History.

"चमक उठी सन सत्तावन में, वह तलवार पुरानी थी, बुंदेले हरबोलों के मुँह हमने सुनी कहानी थी , खूब लड़ी मर्दानी वो तोह झाँसी वाली रानी थी"

Date:8th,10th &11th Aug.-20  Grade - 1 (Online Class) - Sense Organ

Students of BTGS are participating enthusiastically in their online classes with innovative activities. Students did a blindfold activity for the concept of Sense Organs. The teacher did handholding during the activity with instructions on one side of screen and parents supported their wards on the other side. This can be remarkably seen in the shared pictures and we THANK parent for the same. Students used their nose to smell, fingers to touch and ear to hear, tongue to taste and identify the object while they were blindfolded. Then they opened their blindfold and saw all the objects through their eyes to compare their guess of the object when they were blindfolded. They shared their experience with their classmates. In this way they used all 5 sense organs. Glimpses of the students' enjoyment can be seen in the pictures.

Janmashtami - The birth of Lord Krishna, is celebrated all across the world by the followers. Baal roop of Shree Krishna is known for all his mischievous and notorious activities which we can easily correlate with our children.

Here are a few glimpses of Krishna & Radhika, captured during the online classes of BTGS as Janmashtmi celebration. Happy Janmashtmi...

WE ARE ALWAYS OPEN TO LEARN NEW THINGS

WE LEARN AND WE GROW WITH NEW CHALLENGES !!! - BRAHMAVIDERS firmly believe and live by these words...

Another milestone reached today after successful completion of Periodic Assessment- 1 which was scheduled from 13July 2020.

The assessments were objective-type based on creative and critical thinking.

Revision sessions through a short questionnaire boosted up the confidence in students.

With the cooperation of parents and students along with the assessment monitoring guidelines, it proved to be a SUCCESSFUL ONE !!!

The International Day of the World’s Indigenous People is observed on 9 August each year to promote and protect the rights of the world’s indigenous people.

Our Kindergarteners participated with great zeal in making this day a memorable one by making attractive tribal headgears in the classroom. Parents took great initiative in dressing their kids with proper tribal makeup along with the headgear. Our basic motive was to empower new knowledge to the kids to foster growth, development and respect for all culture irrespective of colour, caste and creed.

As we believe in integration of subjects, it is a great opportunity for students of LKG to explore the monsoon and make SELF TO TEXT connection. Kids learnt about Monsoon season and its importance by performing few activities.

Communities are enhanced when streets are lined with trees – making them habitable neighbourhoods. Meeting this thought, children were asked to plant one tree near their neighbourhood and express their views on saving nature. Students have showcased their artistic as well as rhythmic skill by reciting rhymes related to monsoon season. We appreciate and motivate the students who have participated and nurtured their skill with great enthusiasm.

Students of BTGS learnt to make Rakhi using Buds, paper, glitter, ribbon, beads and glue during their online classes. It was amazing to see the Rakhi on their wrist or on their brother’s or father’s wrist. The love, affection and feeling of respect which they weaved in that Rakhi were visible in the wonderful pictures clicked on Rakshabandhan Day. Kids shared the same with the class. The joyful and happy faces with hand made Rakhi made celebration memorable for children.

The workshops were carried out at Brahamvid The Global School on 29th and 30th of July 2020 for Grade 5th onwards.

About the workshop: Online Safety is an absolute imperative, especially in these times when we have been pushed into the online space for our daily work and communication. Through this training, we seek to empower students with the knowledge of what it means to be digital citizens, positive online engagement, digital wellness, spotting fake news, and many other skills and tools required to use the online space positively and effectively.

Students of BTGS enjoyed celebrating Rakshabandhan and Eid festival during their online classes. Students prepared beautiful Rakhi using beads, lace, ribbon and other leftover materials readily available at home. This activity was hand-holded by Teacher on the other side of the screen and by parents beside the students. Students were decked up in traditional attire and were ready with the hand-decorated Rakhi Thal beside them. The most wonderful thing was they enjoyed Swaiyan as a sweet used in Rakhi Thali. Teachers shared about both the festivals and students learnt how we celebrate them. We Thank parents for being a great support for their ward and for equally participating in their moments of enjoyment.

Activity: Roleplay (Community Helpers)

The task assigned on date: 20/07/2020

Task assigned: Children had to dress up as helpers belonging to different professions and enact their roles with realistic props and speak a few lines related to their job.

Today is International Friendship Day. Children celebrated International Friendship Day by giving their favourite dolls to each other.

Clay modelling activity helps in developing good hand-eye coordination, exercise of fingers may improve a child’s handwriting as well.

While the children were learning about various animals and their body parts, they made interesting models of animals using clay. They even tried to mix body parts of different animals and created imaginary creatures of their own choice. It was a wonderful session.

Though technology tries to take over our kids childhood , there's one thing that never goes out of style and can keep them entertained for hours - that's making bubbles.

Blowing is a good exercise for developing muscles in the jaw and mouth. Not only this activity is entertaining but also develops the oral motor skills.

Children enjoyed making beautiful bubbles using liquid soap , sugar solution and a straw.

Shravan or Sawan is one of the most beautiful month in Indian culture. It is a month of festivity. On 23rd July Hariyali Teej a reason to rejoice and enjoy was celebrated. Our beautiful Mothers participate in “Saree Swag“ by wearing Green attire with some stylish or classic pose alone and with the child. Enjoy the Photos of the Celebrations

Hats off to our Teachers at BTGS..... for their EFFORT by devoting their Time, Energy and Creativity to make the online class INTERACTIVE, INFORMATIVE and INTERESTING. Teachers are making informative backdrops, interesting teaching aids and motivating rewards for students. Online classes have given teachers the opportunity to show their affection and care for each student of their class though they are distance away. Connectivity of teacher and student is appreciable. Here are glimpses of few such BTGS TEACHER'S EFFORT.
