Fit India Quiz 2022 | Central Zone Topper | Purnita Agrawal (Gr-6)

With profound happiness, BTGS is elated to share that our champ PURNITA AGRAWAL of Grade 6 is ranked 1st in the state in the preliminary round of  second edition of Fit India Quiz by Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. In the next round she will be participating in state web round championship.

Purnita got positioned in India’s young achievers' board. Congratulations! girl.

16702 schools and 61981 students participated across the country.

The National Testing Agency conducted the preliminary round of the quiz. Further rounds will be telecasted on star sports and webcast on multiple social media channels.

The Quiz has total prize money of 3.25 crore!!!

Time flies…. When we sit for circle time…

A time when bonding is built between students and the facilitator!!! As we grow older, at times we miss expressing gratitude to the people around us and appreciating them. In this memorable session, each student expressed their gratitude and spoke the best about their peers. It was a time full of mixed emotions, laughs, cries, hugs and smiles. BTGS believes in inculcating values first and other elements take a back seat.

Republic Day Celebration | 26th Jan 2023

Freedom in the mind, strength in the body, purity in our blood, pride in our souls, zeal in our hearts. With all power and goodness of the characters, Brahmaviders observed the very special day on the Indian calendar, 26th January 2023. The students and teachers of Brahmavid the Global School commemorated  the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country, with integration of Basant Panchami, the day of Goddess Saraswati. Culture, arts and science were amalgamated and the celebration was made successful with a number of cultural performances.

Special Assembly| Makar Sankranti Celebration| Gr 1-11

Brahmavid the Global School encourages multiple intelligence. At the annual observance of Makar Sankranti, all the intelligences were exhibited, when the entire school embarked on a cultural journey with the students of Visual and Performing Arts under the Pracheen Kala Kendra. Through a number of performances, including the mesmerising vocals on Raag Aasavari and Raag Yaman, several outstanding pieces of Kathak were witnessed.

There was a power-packed exhibition of Visual Arts.

All the students portrayed extraordinary fusion of culture of India. The grandeur of Indian culture lies in their practices, and these practices are worth cherishing.

Art has the power to transform, to illuminate, to educate, inspire and motivate. To develop and nurture the artistic intelligence of all the stake holders of Brahmavid The Global School, we celebrate “Indradhanush“ The Annual Art Festival.

This 7th day of January 2023, saw the Students, Parents, Staff members holding their paint brushes and making captivating pieces of art work. The campus was gleaming with art exhibits. Together, the participants discovered a new, colourful side of themselves. The vibrance of the event once again proved “Art speaks where words are unable to explain”.

छेर -छेरा  से  संबंधित मधुर  गीत , छत्तीसगढ़ी  परिधान  पहनकर  आकर्षक  नृत्य , छत्तीसगढ़ी  बोली  में  नाटक  कुछ  ऐसे  अनोखे  और  अद्भुत  अंदाज  में  ब्रह्मविदर्स  द्वारा  छत्तीसगढ़  के  मुख्य  पर्व  छेर  छेरा पर प्रार्थना  सभा का आयोजन किया  गया  I  यह  पर्व  पौष माह की पूर्णिमा  के  दिन  मनाया  जाता  है I कार्यक्रम  में  पर्व  से  संबंधित  नृत्य, नाटक  और गीत  प्रस्तुत  किए  गए I  छत्तीसगढ़ी  बोली  की  मिठास  ने  सभागार  में उपस्थित  शिक्षक और  छात्रों सभी  को  मंत्र मुग्ध कर  दिया I इस  अवसर  पर  ब्रह्मविदर्स ने  छेर  छेरा  पर्व  के  महत्व  से  सभी  को  अवगत  कराया I  साथ  ही  साथ  अन्न  को  व्यर्थ  ना करने  की  बात  भी कही I  विद्यालय  द्वारा  ब्रह्मविदर्स को  हमेशा अनाज के  महत्व और  नष्ट ना  करने  की  शिक्षा  दी  जाती  है I  छात्रों  ने  कार्यक्रम  द्वारा  साझा करना, खुशियाँ  बाटना, बंधुत्व , संसाधनों  का  उचित  प्रयोग और  स्नेह  बनाए  रखने  का संदेश  भी  दिया I इस  मौके  पर  प्राचार्या   ने  छात्रों  की  प्रशंसा  करते  हुए  उनका  मार्ग  दर्शन  भी  किया I

Students belonging to all the FOUR HOUSES participated and each house had to compete against each other. This brought out the competitive spirit in all!!!

There were many spectators cheering for their houses since it is exciting to watch friends play and compete for their house. The court was noisy but worth it. The atmosphere was electric with the cheers of the students and the enthusiasm of the participants.

We witnessed good sportsmanship by all the players and that was the best part of the morning.

This inter-house competition witnessed a lot of close contests with each team jumping and leaping to score baskets. It was a close fought competition wherein each house put its best foot forward. Lay-ups were met with intense blocks as the players sweated it out on the courts.

Annual Sports Day [Tug of War] | 2022-23

You may recall a game of Tug of War from summer camp or gym class but you don’t need a flock of campers or a full classroom to play this ancient childhood game of strength and strategy!!!

It may seem like a game where the strongest wins, but Tug of War is more than a test of strength. Even before the game begins, kids have to flex their cognitive skills.

Letting kids solve problems and negotiate helps build their cognitive skills, and it’s also a good lesson of compromising and learning to work as a team. Once the play begins, kids use all their muscles to pull the opposing team over the center. This game was part of our annual sports day and winners gave sweat and strength to win it.

Tennis is fun, great for fitness, and for developing fundamental movement skills and physical literacy. It is also a great way of developing personal and character skills. 

This royal game was a part of BTGS Sports Day 2022-23.

Games keep our body and mind healthy. There are different kinds of games. Cricket is one of the cherished ones. These matches promote friendly relations and brotherhood.

On the fixed day the match started at Nine. The captains of different houses were ready to take strides and hit SIXES. The umpires took their positions and the match started, It was thrilling, exciting and full of entertainment where students exhibited and performed their extraordinary skills and hit SIXES and FOURS to make their team win.

Ping Pong is one of the interesting indoor games and it is a regular sport happening in Brahmavid. This needs a high level of attention and eye-hand-body coordination.

It was a part of sports day where FOUR HOUSES showed their excellence and scored points for their house by winning the position in different categories.

Special Assembly | Christmas Celebration | Gr-1 to 11 | 23rd Dec 2022

Christmas in BTGS was celebrated as culminating event  for joy of giving. The boundless pleasure of celebrating the festival was amply visible on the faces of the children, especially when Santa buzzed around distributing sweets in the group. Soaking in the spirit of Christmas, young Brahmaviders  presented cultural extravaganza and exhibited the real spirit of the festival.

In the special assembly, everyone prayed for universal brotherhood, good health and peace for the year coming ahead.

Annual Sports Day [Chess] | Inter House | 2022-23

Problem-solving skill is one of the most important skills of 21st-century, and it is developed best when taught in the form of games. Brahmavid The Global School includes chess as a part of regular and day boarding activities where the students learn to build up confidence and be self-decisive. It was the part of 2022-23 Sports Day competition.

Christmas Celebration | Kindergarten(KG) | 23rd Dec 2022

Christmas imparts the message of caring and sharing and it’s also about showing compassion to the less privileged. Our little budding stars of BTGS shared the true meaning of Christmas through a small act. They also tapped their toes on a few Christmas Carols and wished each other compliments of the season. The boundless joy of celebrating the festival was amply visible on the faces of the children, especially when Santa moved around and wished all the kids. Instilling traditional values in our children has been an important part of our curriculum. Various festivals are celebrated in BTGS and children get to learn about our Indian traditions from the stories and episodes related to each of them.

In this special week, our BTGS children brought rice and sugar to donate for the holy cause. It is truly said that 'giving is better than receiving.' Seminar By Rotary Club | 6th Dec 2022

Rotary Club is a non-profit organisation that brings together people of all ages and communities worldwide to organise service activities, develop leadership skills, and socialise. This club makes people aware of the necessary issues and creates social awareness in society. BTGS organised a Water Sanitation and Hygiene(Wash)Awareness Seminar today. The members of the Rotary Club Raipur visited BTGS and interacted with the children. They made children aware of the seven steps which are to wet the hands and apply enough liquid soap to create a good lather (step 1), rub palms together (step 2), and rub the back of hands (step 3). interlink your fingers (step 4). cup your fingers (step 5), clean the thumbs (step 6) and rub your palms with your fingers (step 7). It was a fruitful session.

To develop bodily kinaesthetic intelligence an Inter House Group Dance Competition was held in BTGS for the students of grade 1 to 3 on 29/11/22.

        The participants expressed their dancing talent, which was coupled by appropriate costumes and good choreography. The audience were enthusiastic and cheered the participants. The performers were judged on the basis of their Coordination, Creativity, Authenticity of dance forms, Impact of music. The competition was a great learning for all the teams.

The law-making bodies work as the backbone of a democracy. After many discussions over various issues and necessities of the nation, there is an accommodation of various interests, and a compromise decision is taken. Such decisions are frequently taken by Parliament. These decisions are important since they affect the whole country. The decisions are the result of long-drawn debates. Brahmavid The Global School organised the BTGS Youth Parliament- 22-23 on 26/11/22 Saturday. Students from Grades 8th to 11th participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. They learnt how everybody is given a chance to be heard while maintaining proper decorum in Parliament.

Special Assembly | Constitution Day | 26th Nov 2022

Constitution Day (Samvidhan Divas)  is celebrated to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India.

Our students at Brahmavid The Global School celebrated Constitution Day with lot of reverence for our Indian Constitution.  The day became special with the morning assembly where students took an oath to uphold the principles and values enshrined in our Indian Constitution. To respect this occasion, our students performed various activities like group song, speech, thoughts and facts related to  Constitution and read the Preamble of our Constitution.  The assembly got concluded by singing the National Anthem.

Girls Athletes of Brahmavid Football Academy participated in 5 A side football tournament and stood runners-up in the tournament. Nupur Khatri from grade 11, was awarded as the best defender. Kudos to her appreciable efforts!!!

UNICEF l Sports Tournament l 14-19 Nov 2022

Support every right for every child, because every child can be a champion!!!

World Children’s Day is UNICEF’s annual day of action for children, by children.

UNICEF, in collaboration with CHHATTISGARH PRIVATE SCHOOL MANAGEMENT, organised the first SPORTS FEST 2022.

It was a multi-sport event of traditional and modern sports.

Brahmavid The Global School is elated to share that the students brought laurels to the school by winning trophies in different events.

Students and Coaches were felicitated on the award giving ceremony by Padmashri Anuj Sharmaji, a member of UNICEF with other known dignitaries of Raipur.

15 CG state roller skates competition l Shaily Goenka (Gr-3) l 4-6 Nov 2022

Shaily Goenka, student of Grade 3, from BTGS, participated in the 15th Chhattisgarh State Roller Skating Championship and won the gold medal in her category. Brahmavid The Global School congratulates her for this achievement!!!

Activity | Healthy Food | UKG,LKG | 17th Nov 2022

Hands-on cooking activities help children to develop confidence and skills. BTGS master chefs of LKG and UKG prepared scrumptious sandwiches and salad as their learning activity. Children and teachers sang the fruit and vegetable rhymes with great zest and vigour, enjoying the moments of joy and happiness together. Our little Nursery kids were also a part of the event. Teachers ensured that they too understand the importance of eating healthy food. The best part of the activity was, children took the prepared sandwiches and salad home, for their parents to taste, who would probably be eagerly waiting for their wards, handmade treats.

Celebration | Children's Day Celebration | KG | 15th Nov 2022

Children are the future, we should nurture them right so that they grow up to be able leaders and lead the world towards light. Every child is special and unique. Our little scholars of Kindergarten enjoyed this lovely day by playing games and grooving on the beat of their favourite songs. Teachers created sweet memories by performing on their favourite tunes. It was indeed a fun-filled day for the students of BTGS.

A child is a beam of sunlight from the Infinite and Eternal, with possibilities of virtue and vice, but as yet unstained.”

To honour this blessing of nature, the teachers of Brahmavid the Global School channelled their inner children and brought a morning of celebration. It was an occasion when they performed for their beloved students. The morning also witnessed a number of diverse dance performances delivered by the students of Grades 4 to 8, representing the rich culture of India. Students followed the themes of semi classical and folk dance. Students delivered enchanting vocals for motivational songs as well. The true essence of childhood was displayed in multiple colours and it made the celebration a memorable one for everyone present.

Educational Trip | CA Firm (Agrawal Arvind & Associates) | Gr-11 [Commerce] | 9th Nov 2022

The students of Grade 11 went on an educational trip to Agrawal Arvind and Associates - CA in Raipur.  They interacted with the learned people there,  gathering substantial information about accounting, audit and the process of working in CA firms. It was an enriching experience for young minds who are aspiring to grow in the field of commerce.

Real-life examples and experiential learning are a must practice here at BTGS!!!

The curious bees of Grades 7th & 8th got to see the algae farm, organic rice field, vermicompost tank and various technology which our farmers need for good production.

The various scientists present at the centre took them to their respective areas and explained the ongoing research.

The Director of Krishi Vigyaan Kendra gave his valuable time to clear the queries of the students. Along with it, the career opportunities in the field of agriculture were also explained to the learners.

Altogether, it was an "Integrated approach to learning", the vision of BTGS!!!

The learning started with the radio station room samvad 90.8 having a frequency range of 25km in radius. Multilingual programmes are recorded here by their students,  but mostly in Chhattisgarhi.  Our students also got to know about the process of modulation and editing.

Next was the news station room that is used for broadcasting the news. Our students showed eagerness to know the fact that how a news reporter delivers news frequently without any disturbance.

The functions of a teleprompter, green screen were all explained well.

Our students grabbed the opportunity to record a 3 minutes video highlighting the amenities at Brahmavid The Global School.

Undoubtedly, it was an informative educational trip!!!

The frequency of enthusiasm in students of BTGS matched well with the high-frequency range of 94.3 MY FM!!!

The students had an interactive session with RJ Animesh & RJ Gayatri along with the Promo Editors. The glittering eyes got a chance to see the recording studio, server rooms and the technical equipment used in the radio station. In addition to this, the students understood the significance of software used to make jingles, add advertisements and background music on AIR. The real-life experience of recording their voices in the studio was the cherry on the cake!!!

Celebrate | World Food Day | Gr-KG | 15th Oct 2022

Every year on October 16, people all over the world commemorate World Food Day. The theme for 2022 is "Leave NO ONE behind." We asked each family of a kindergarten students to get together and take part in various activities to honour this day. Parents of Nursery were asked to offer some cooked or uncooked food to their housekeeper or to homeless persons they encountered while travelling. Our main goal was to instil the spirit of "Charity" in every family. LKG students were instructed to make their Sunday enjoyable by sharing meals with their families. "Make each Kitchen Annapurna" was the main goal. Finally, UKG students were appraised to host friends and relatives at their homes. Even our BTGS Kindergarten teachers came together for the good cause and gave out meals to those in need. We observed this day with an entirely new flavour.

Workshop | Environment Sustainability | Gr-5 to 11 |20th Oct 2022

BTGS is glad to share that we are collaborating and joining hands with Kabadiwala Team for the initiative “Mera Carton Meri Zimedari” this activity will provide experiential learning to the students of BTGS to understand the importance of 3R’s Reuse, Recycle, Repurpose. This awareness will help students to nurture the traits of being Global future citizens.

BTGS works on the purpose, Reduce, Reuse and Recycle and this association is one step towards it.

The well-known Kabadiwala’s team conducted a workshop for the students of BTGS regarding their initiative “Mera Carton Meri Zimedari”. With the aim to create a zero waste community by diverting 90% of the waste from landfill to the recycling industry, they educate people on the segregation of waste at source, the right disposal practice and how people can be a part of "Mera Carton Meri Zimedari" environmental initiative.

In the workshop, students were advised how and where to collect the carton.

What all items can be made out of the collected waste carton.

At the end, students took an oath to keep our environment clean and green and join hands for the initiative of Environment Sustainability.

World Tourism Day | KG | 27th Sep 2022

Tourism is the act and process of spending time away from home in pursuit of recreation, relaxation, and pleasure. World Tourism Day, celebrated each year on 27th September, is the  global observance day. Life is incomplete unless you have fulfilled your dream of travelling. To celebrate this day our little BTGS shooting stars of kindergarten have shared pictures and videos of their travelling experience. Children even shared their memories with their peers.

The students of grade LKG undertook the Nest building activity as part of the experiential learning. The students made nests after observing a few real nests in their surroundings. Children gathered sticks, grass, dried leaves and bits of things to prepare the nest. They loved exploring bird habitats by doing this amazing activity both indoor as well as outdoor. Indeed creative and engineering skills were honed  while building the bird home.

SGFI Basketball Competition| Pranshu Yadav (8A) | 10-15th Oct 2022

#BTGS Student Pranshu Yadav (8 A)  was chosen for the Raipur division SGFI Basketball team. They took part in the U14 SGFI state-level Sub-Junior basketball competition and won a Silver medal. The event was held in Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh, from 10th October to 15th October 2022.

We would also like to congratulate the Raipur division team for their successful year of winning the silver medal in the U14 category of the SGFI state-level basketball tournament.

The award ceremony was conducted by the Education World India school Rankings 2022-23 awards at Gurugram,(NCR). The Directors collected the prestigious award on the behalf of BTGS.

Becoming a no.1 school in the 5th year is a great feat and TEAM BTGS  promises to take Brahmavid to newer heights pouring continuous efforts in  working towards the goal of giving holistic education with child centric approach and excellence towards whatever we do.

Educational Trip | Shubham K Mart | Nursery & LKG | 10th Oct 2022

A supermarket is a wonderful place for children to be made aware of and learn about different kinds of things available under one roof. BTGS chirping birds of Nursery and LKG had been taken on an Educational Trip to Shubham K Mart, Sarona on 10th of October. In their visit to the supermarket, they have been introduced to different sections of the supermarket like groceries, clothes, toys, kitchen appliances, stationery, toiletry and household items. Teachers explained to them how things are bought, billed and paid for. This taught them the feeling of responsibility. During departure some students shared their shopping experiences which they had with their parents. On the whole, it was a fun-filled learning experience for each child.

Educational Trip | Parle-G Factory | Gr- UKG | 7th Oct 2022

BTGS Buzzing bees of UKG visited the Parle G Biscuit Factory for an educational trip on the 7th of October,2022. The sweet smell of biscuits came breezing into our nostrils, the moment we entered the factory gate. Children enjoyed watching the row of biscuits, freshly baked, moving on the conveyor belt into the packing area. Few of the staff got freshly baked packets of biscuits and toffees which were quite warm yet tasty, brittle and fresh. This trip was a wonderful learning experience for the kids as they got to watch the process of baking to smelling of freshly baked biscuits, listening to the sounds of machines and tasting the biscuits. Well indeed all the  senses were well used today. It was a memorable day for our kids.

Celebration l Dussehra Celebration(Residential) l 5th Oct 2022

Dussehra was celebrated by the residential students in the BTGS campus in a lively manner by presenting a part of Ramleela in the form of Nritya Natika before burning the effigy of demon king Ravana.

BTGS always focuses on the Learning Outcomes of every activity may it be theatre, celebrations or outings planned for the residential students as their fun activity.

Students performed a Nritya Natika as a part of their learning from the theatre classes which are held for them every Sunday and on holidays. A beautiful blend of expressions, dance and drama can be seen in their performance.

The concept of Ravan Dahan has been correlated with the aspect of LIFE SKILLS with the topic “Good Over Evil”; “Right over Wrong”; “Light over Darkness” and the role-play of the same in the Nritya Natika is witnessed.

It was a joyful learning experience for the Residential students, away from their families at the hostel, getting prepared for being mindful future citizens of the world.

State Powerlifting Championship | Aditya Agrawal | Gr-11 | 23-25 Sep 2022

#BTGS (Brahmavid The Global School) student Aditya Agrawal of Grade XI won four Gold Medals in the 24th Powerlifting Championship Dr. Khoobchand Baghel Trophy Chhattisgarh State.

He competed in the sub-junior 120 kg weight division and took first place in the squat, bench press, and deadlift. He also took first place overall by putting up a total of 372.5 kg of weight.

Workshop | POCSO Act Awareness | 17th Sep 2022 | GR- 6 to 11

Children are the future of society and ensuring their security is our responsibility. BTGS took initiative and organised a workshop on POCSO (The Protection of Children Against Sexual Offences) which is an Act to preserve the safety of children.

In the workshop, students from Grade 11 presented a Nukkad Natak wherein they enacted various scenarios to help their peers and juniors understand and relate to the present-day unforeseen situations and how to act in any such circumstances. This workshop helped the BTGS students to be aware of the importance of being careful and what they could do to avoid any mishaps. They understood how to raise voices against any such hideous act and to be sensitive towards the victims.

An English news reading competition was organised on 7th, 8th, 9th September for grade 1-3 where the students showcased active participation and followed the integrated approach towards learning.

Drama helps in showcasing Interpersonal and Intrapersonal intelligences. Inter House Drama Competition, on the theme of “Krishna Leela” was organised @BTGS to  help students present their various skills. Krishna being the supreme power has preached different values like brotherhood, friendship, trust, leadership and many more. Our students showcased some of these values through their acting skills.

Grandparents play many roles like parents, teachers & forever best friends. “They are grandchildrens’ 1st love & grandchildren are their last love” Value based education being one of the core factors at BTGS; This Grandparents day, we gave our little ones a task of celebrating it in a special way by doing some small activities which can make their grandparents happier. No wonder, they performed it really well in a mesmerising way.The theme of “Childhood” made them relive their school days. They also grooved to the music beats and actively participated in the games.

At BTGS we believe in continuous skill enhancement for holistic development of the child. The students exhibited their musical intelligence through power of their voice and beauty of the lyrics.

In the Inter House Group Song Competition, all the four houses had a tough vying as the judgement was done on many criterias such as coordination, expression, rhythm and melody. It was a collaborative work of the team members that got them accolades.

The Nature club of Brahmavid The Global School conducted a 10 KM nature walk on Sunday for the students to observe the surroundings and capture their observation. The whole excercise took around 2.5 Hrs and you can see the glimpses in this reel.

Independence Day is a special day for all of us. This day is an emotional reminder of the sacrifices that have come along with it. It also reminds us of all the freedom fighters who laid their lives for our free India.15th August 1947 marked the end of the British reign in India and we breathe air in a free and sovereign nation due to all the big and small sacrifices. This year India celebrates its 75 years of freedom, THE AMRIT MAHOTSAV. On this 76th Independence day, we BRAHMAVIDERS paid tribute to our freedom fighters and brave soldiers, by commemorating Prabhat Pheri with students and staff members. The "Tricolour" was hoisted by our beloved Chairman Shri Krishna Kumar Nathani Sir( Krishna Kumar Nathani ), Directors and Principal followed by a cultural show by the students. The Principal shared the importance of this special day and the inculcation of human values in everyone.

May our Tricolour always fly high. Long live our nation.

Indigenous people are mostly the ethnic groups in society. The tribal day celebrates Indigenous peoples' invaluable contributions and strength and recognises their inherent liberty. Brahmavid The Global School celebrated the World Tribal day with great zeal and enthusiasm. The students from Grade 7 presented a special assembly depicting the day's importance, including tribal song, dance and speech. The students were empowered about the growth, development and respect for all cultures irrespective of colour, caste and creed.

Hareli Celebrations at Brahmavid The Global School taking the students through the rural Chhattisgarh which is the lifeline of the State. 

Rhymes play a pivotal role in the life of a child. They build self-confidence, develop oratory skills and teach self-expression. Rhymes Competition was organised from 13th to 15th July in the Kindergarten section, where our little Rhyme Riders participated and showcased the beauty of rhythm and expression. The competition inspired the children to come and hold the stage. They came up with different rhymes and expressed themselves with great zeal and enthusiasm.

Description - In this activity, students learnt to make a paper crinkling machine using the concept of gear ratios.

From the Upanishads and Vedas “GURU” is regarded as someone having deep knowledge who can lead you to success. We at Brahmavid The Global School imbibe the importance of Gurus and the extraordinary bond that a teacher and student share. On the occasion of Guru Purnima, our students expressed their gratitude towards their teachers and greeted them by putting vermillion on their foreheads.

During the session, Dr Vivek Bhartiya shared the importance of Yoga in a student's life via a four-stage program which included some of the vital Asanas which students can do to keep themselves active and take care of their body and mind. Being a Naturopath he also shared the importance food plays in the well-being of students. Ms Ananya demonstrated all the yoga asanas with all her flexibility attained at so early age which inspired the students in audience and we thank her for being a role model for them. Aarogya Mandir Vivek Bhartiya

At Brahmavid The Global School, we encourage our children to be curious and gain knowledge which helps in building self-confidence. Today, the students of Grades 4 to 7 excitedly participated in the Interhouse Quiz Competition. They gave spontaneous answers and were enthusiastic throughout the rounds. Teamwork and excellent preparation were well observed and were appreciated. 

Quizzes are fun, it boosts the excitement about the scores. They raise confidence and can boost self-esteem. Quizzes help the students to challenge themselves. It also encourages them to be aware of their self-progress and self-assessment. Today with the same motto an Interhouse Quiz competition was organised at Brahmavid The Global School for Grades 8 to 11. Students from all the houses Parijat, Haricanda, Mandar and Kalptaru took an active part in the quiz and showcased teamwork and Interpersonal skills. They depicted excellent participation in the Rapid fire rounds with fast calculations for answering the mathematical and scientific questions. 

This Sunday Hostel Students had an outing accompanied by the Birthday Celebrations of four of our students. Happy Birthday Reet, Samyak, Aditya and Pranjal.

Hostel students of BTGS have Bhajan Sandhya in their Saturday schedule. In which they enjoy different type of live singing of motivational songs with pranayam, meditation and Guru Vachan.

The tiny narrators were dressed up in colourful attire and presented themselves with a variety of props. Each one carried his/her own essence of themes. Some stories provided food for thought, some reinforced moral values and some were humorous.

This competition enhanced their various multiple intelligences, namely - Verbal linguistic, Interpersonal and Bodily Kinesthetic.

Fitness is an integral part of BTGS. To spread awareness about the benefits of yoga, our Kindergarten children along with their teachers had a wonderful yoga session on the International Yoga Day. Children performed a few basic pranayamas which helps the mind to stay calm and focused, improves concentration and increases oxygen intake in the body. The celebration was relished by one and all. 

Fitness is an important part in the life of every Bramavider. To foster the importance of a fit mind in a fit body, like every year, this year too we celebrated World Yoga Day. All Brahmaviders took an active part and promised to make Yoga an essential part of their life. Celebration of World Music Day added soul to the day. Celebrating fitness(for body) and music(for mind) together was magical.
